This is the car pack that was voted for by the public, with the results announced in January. Been out for ages has it? do you have a link as you seem to have included one to something else

Pity the PS3 controller sucks, especially when you need variable control like in a racing game. I liked number 1 and 2 IIRC, also I thought number 3 was good but I didn't really get into it, 4 wasn't much good IMO but I didn't play it all that much since I had a 360 by then. The amount of time they've spent on number 5 it's pretty reasonable to assume it's going to be good, as mentioned before Forza have churned out 3 epic games in the time it's taken to develop GT5 and I doubt it would be as fun as all 3 Forzas combined.
But I don't understand why this has been turned into a Forza bashing thread, it's about a Forza add-on, if you don't like it go complain somewhere else?

pitty the 360 wheel sucks compared to the logitech wheels. seriously, playing racing games on a control pad is rubbish IMO.

i have a g25 wheel that can simply be plugged into a pc and a ps3 with no fuss. Kudo's to MS not allowing third party wheels to be freely be compatible with a 360.

I rather a dev take their time developing a game then to rush it and bring out 3 games that play identical.

turn 10 are the new EA sports

When GT5 comes out, lets see if Turn 10 can add dynamic weather effects, niht and day cycles etc etc in a year's time hehe.

Their is a reason why GT5 takes time to develop, they are implementing almost every feature you can possibly think of in a racing game running at 60fps looking 100 times better than forza 3 IMO.

Like someone said in here, GT5 will blow away forza IMO.

Most people will be playing on the standard controller though. Forza have released 3 thoroughly enjoyable games, and as I said I doubt GT5 would be as good as all 3 Forzas combined. I'm not saying GT5 isn't going to be good, but they have took their sweet time developing it - it probably took Sony less time to develop the console! Not that I'd buy another console for one game anyway.
I do agree about EA Sports though, some of my friends buy every new football game out and to me every one looks and plays exactly the same, they should just release a 50p add-on with new footballers or something...

About the car pack, you said Jalopnik, I posted Jalopnik trying to be helpful; I don't spend much time lurking on Forza forums so I wasn't aware of another pack by the same name. I used stronger language in my last post because frankly you were doing my head in, like one of those patronising support staff you seem to get one of in most places.

i want turn10 to bring out the car packs they say they will, for the good of the franchise. and i am called a troll and a fanboy by someone who has done nothing but complain about people complaining.

you know how much i played Forza2 j.o.s.h. i think i have played the series enough to give a fair and balanced opinion on it without being accused of "competition bashing"

I'm wondering whether or not the licensing deals will continue between Sony and the BBC after GT5's release? particularly given Forza 3's involvement now Microsoft's press release describes the deal as a "long-term collaboration".

as long as MS aren't going to push for exclusivity in this, i don't see why they cant both have top gear stuff in the games. We know they both will for the next iterations, and after that is too far in the future to know if top gear will even be about.
