Absolutely Hilarious & very dangerous!!!
They actually showed how to cut carbon by 10% in the video! Since we're carbon based lifeforms, what better way to reduce carbon emissions than to 'blow up' those carbon based humans who don't want to help reduce carbon emissions!
I don't see the humour, how did they think people would respond?
Bad taste indeed.

The video was shocking. How distatseful! This 10:10 organization is portraying that human life means nothing to them!
Hmmm 10:10 or scientology, think I'll use my own brain thanks. Someone needs to stop teaching kids this crap!
Part one sort of reminded me of Battle Royale. I don't like the way the message in the video can be interpreted ("You don't deserve to live if you won't go along"), though I'd like to think that they do not really mean it that way. The tastelessness doesn't bother me, but what'd they expect some of the public would react.
Stupid ad agency trying to be "edgy" ?
I don't really see what they hoped to achieve with that, other than lets be offensive to get lots of publicity - "all publicity is good publicity", which isn't always true as we are seeing now.
If anything it sends the wrong message, as many will agree that the green nazi's really think that way.
I really don't think the point of the video was: anybody who doesn't sign up should die...
in fact I thought it was a really clever way of getting the severity of the situation across, by the end when the woman says "care to join us? no pressure" in your mind saying no really wasn't an option! So all in all it seemed to me to be a really refreshing take on getting the message across that not acting simply isn't an option. I certainly felt 'the pressure' at the end (of exploding if you say no...) so I think it's a really well thought out message. It's certainly a bit short-sighted to say that they're a bunch of nazis who want to explode people...
Whether it is intended or not though, it comes across as heavy handed, and I think that's why it rubs people the wrong way. They are asking for a favour/sacrifice of everyone, but however well intended the cause might be (genuine concern for future generations), heavy handedness can alienate/come across as unprofessional.
Mildly amusing, and a refreshing change from the usual eco-preach, but I doubt that it will do much for the "cause".
The problem with the 10% idea is people who are already doing a good job have a harder one to improve on what they are already doing, I think I should go home and turn everything electric 24/7 that way I can do years of 10% without having to worry about blowing up.
