No sweat: I'm leasing a dwarf neutron star and using its computronium exclusively as a GPU.

No cooling issues! It rocks. Should run the game at 800 x 600 with most settings, if previous experience is anything to go by.

If I get it above 30fps at 1080p v-synced with at least 2xAA I will be a happy man.

I guess I will be happy.

Any unoptimised engine can rag a gpu. Any sensible coder with CUDA and a for-loop can rag a GPU What I'm looking here for is more optimisation and less fannying about with useless post-processing.

My current PC could run it... However, my new one should be coming soon, with SLi GTX580s... Should hopefully stand a chance at getting it running with at least 4xAA at 1080p

Re: News - EA and Crytek announce Crysis 2 system reqs

Unless you drop the detail down, in which case what point is there in a new fancy engine?!

I'd assume that min specs would let you run comparable settings to what the PS3/360 will end up looking like. Probably enough for a lot of people (?)

I think I'll wait a bit for the tweaks to appear like when Crysis came out.

Re: News - EA and Crytek announce Crysis 2 system reqs

Find it had to believe this is big jump, with that if medium settings look the same as the original then for the first time I will be happy with running a few sliders down from the top.

I don't really have a budget for PC upgrades right now and the voltages on my CPU and GPU are already near the top!

I imagine your system will be fine.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
