Activision have gone downhill from COD2 nevermind MW2. Each one has got progressively worse IMO.

Except black ops... its better than MW2 so thats a slight gain

Meh, black ops was no better than any variations of COD. Although, only plus is the zombie mode and that's all! Hated the story, with the "Hell Yeah! America!" ending.

Modern Warfare 1 was the best COD game.

I wish I didn't lose my profile because I would still play it now, but starting at 0 sucks.

i would only play on modded servers anyway... i hate airstrikes, UAVs and choppers. Stupid concept, infact i would say its one of the main killers behind the franchise. Its easy enough for little kids to exploit it and annoying enough to ruin it for everyone who want to actually play for a bit of of skill and competition.

Me too - got MoH and COD:BO within a month of each other and it's MoH I've returned to on SP, although I had a few fun minutes in the BO "training" MP - didn't realise initially that the "training" mode is actually proper MP, not just v's AI, which seemed to be the suggestion from the instructions.

Agree there - CoD2 was the peak of the WWII ones, and MW1 was the best of the three modern ones, although I was relieved to see that BO was way better than MW2. Actually, it's maybe slightly shameful, but I'm in the middle of replaying CoD2 on the PC - new PC, plus I've found it great for a 15 minute "I need to shoot something or else I'll punch someone!" session.

WWII games? How old are you guys ? 60, 70 ?

Never mind combat knife, how many XP for braining someone with a zimmer?

Anyone know if there's plans to continue the storyline that was left hanging from MW2 - is that on the cards for MW3?
