How about giving some decent earphones instead of designing ridiculously loud/looking speaker?

Teenagers on the public bus gonna love it...

    Its 35 euros!

When Apple can't afford to put headphones that are either, comfy, good sounding, isolating (ie canal) on a £600 phone, I think we can forgive nokia for making crap headphones with this.

However yes, I think this is going to be a phone for chavs, with any luck they will explode killing all those who buy them.

Oh for ****s sake.... I really hope they don't sell this POS in the UK, or anywhere were people who might come within 500m of me can buy it.... or I will be sending my dry cleaning bills to nokia for all the blood stains that will have to be removed!

I think everyone has missed the point whereby its to be sold in growth markets, I suspect its very doubtful it will come over here at all.

I agree, but i hope it does since i'm actually interested.

After going down the whole Camera Phone route for a few years now, i've realised that in the end i don't need half the features that most new Mobiles are offering.

Whilst i technically don't need the music player either, it wouldn't make a bad replacement for my MP3 player when i don't want to take both of them out.

All this touchscreen/all-in-one nonsense is getting to people's heads.

Anyhow, I mainly wanted to comment on:

"pretty important if you live in a place where the power supply is unreliable or where there is no electricity at all."
And how exactly are you supposed to charge it then?

Rolling blackouts are quite common in some countries, you get power half the time, before it flips to the next grid. Parts of South Africa it is fairly common place & i imagine other countries as well.
