Yipes! That's seriously expensive. Seriously, how much more will this board overclock verses a "normal" RIIIE or RIIE even?

£380 and it still has two 1x PCIe slots
"ASUS' ROG ThunderBolt expansion card is another selling point."
Maybe for Intel and Apple lawyers maybe? This has nothing to do with the new interconnect as I was hoping.....

Wonder how many of these boards Asus actually will make. Love you know sales numbers for these high end boards.
Considering that X58 is being superseded this year, I think this m/b is expensive in more ways than one. I need to build a desktop this year and I think my two sensible options are a P67 board or wait for the new X68 or X79 or whatever they call it. At least they will have a slightly longer upgrade path (hopefully).
Wow - £100 more expensive that the Rampage iii Extreme. Can't see the £100 benefit.
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
You're really just paying through the nose for that killernic/xonar combo card. You'd be far better off financially and flexibility wise just buying those cards seperate, if you were interested in them at all. Really, the onboard Intel NIC is more than good enough.
