I am a modern Android fan and love my Desire HD and I firmly believe Nokia is up death creek at the moment. But these two new handsets are very nice.
I loved my old E71 and this E7 replacement looks very very nice, alot better than blackberry's current range. If Symbian is now Nokia's budget OS does it mean these hand sets will have a budget price tag to match. If you could get these on < £20 contracts then Nokia might get some good sales.
The world is quickly changing from high end handsets demand to low end demand as peoples cash is being sqeezed so much. I think if Nokia keep the pricing low, then things may turn around for them.
Unless HTC or Samsung drop the prices of their budget lines too. Samsung Ace is more expensive than the higher end Galaxy S at the moment and HTC Wildfire replacement has yet to surfice and rumour has it that it will be expensive - £25 per month min.
Still with weak ARM11 CPUs and poor browsers, that for me makes for smartphone fail.
They look great, and Symbian isn't unusable... shame they are still the same basic SOCs in use for years...
