So its a tablet...
With no apps.
With no connection to the digital world without a blackberry phone device.
So its half a modern tablet - like a car without wheels really.
What in the hell is the point!!!... Idiots.
RIM are closely following Nokia down the road of no hope....
Wife just got a blackberry curve, was cheap. To get it working properly was jumping through hoops at the best, a 3 day trawl through google at worst. The hardware is years out of date, but it's saving grace is the battery life. Rather like Nokia, they seem to have completely lost their way against HTC etc.
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
The CEO should be able to talk his way out of such questioning and put up a fighting front, but failed miserably. He is obviously feeling the pressure from RIM being on a slippery slope.
Just when i thought tablets couldn't be more pointless, RIM prove me wrong. Congratulations RIM you should definitely get some form of booby prize for this one!

It's cool for geeks to hate RIM. This article is clearly only piping the bad news, as that sells.
There's much to praise with the PlayBook, despite some initial faltering. I'll be a day one owner when they get to the UK.
As for the poster that claims no apps and no connection except for via a BB, that's straight up clueless BS. Comment and pan it if you know what you're talking about, by all means, but if you're just bashing because you dislike the company you should consider not posting.
