Those speeds look like older gen SSD's. Wonder if this is just their way of shifting old stock...

Re: News - Samsung delivers easy and convenient SSD upgrade kit

Samsung believes that the inclusion of Norton Ghost 15 means that you could be migrated to your new SSD in under an hour - apparently representing a reduction of up to 75 per cent, in the amount of time it can usually take.
Took me no more than 15mins with clonezilla. That includes the physical swapping over of the hard drives in a shuttle P35.

    1. Shrink 160Gb partition down to around 55Ish Gb to make sure it'd fit on the 60Gb SSD.
    2. plug in SSD and reboot.
    3. Tell clonezilla to copy 55Gb of data to SSD.
    4. Fiddle with screwdrivers
    5. Reboot, resize partition to maximum space.
    6. Smile.

Note the partition, not 160Gb of data.

My windows install with all my normal apps and stuff is around 26Gb. Giving me 25-30Gb for throwing steam games on. Which are backed up to a NAS when im not playing them at the time.

Shrank it with win7 Disk Management (right click my computer > manage > disk manage). Then theres an option to shrink the volume. Which if its empty space anyway, takes seconds. Same with growing it.
