Re: News - UK Gaming Charts: Dead Island steady at No. 1

I bought DeusEx and Driver:SanFrancisco recently (got some trade-in's so I bought them at the same time), and it's Driver that's been in the XBox the most of the two of them. I'm actually really surprised how much good fun it is - even when I'm hugely off the pace compared to other people on the leaderboards ([i]I keep expecting to get passed by Top Gear's Captain Slow ... yes, I'm that bad[/i).

Maybe I'm just at the right age - but the references to those old cop show's in the 70's and 80's just make me smile. Pretty sure it'd be on my top 5 games of this year - that said I've not bought many of the "big name" titles.

Zombie bashing doesn't really interest me at all, so Dead Island won't be being bought anytime soon - but it's interesting to see that there's two "Lego" games in the top ten. I'm sure I saw some comment about them being strictly "niche" products.

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...
