    Does this mean that soon I'll only be able to go to PC World for my dual core PC's - Where else will I be able to get systems that allow me to surf the web and check emails at the same time OMGOSH. ??

    No, you will need a 6 core 980X, the other 11 threads will be taken up by norton 360 so you dont get a virus on youtube. You may use the 1 core as you wish

    Last time I was in PCW trying to buy some hardware (don't count the visit I made yesterday to get a pair of Cat6 cables) they tried to push N360 AND and extended warranty - and that was on a WD external disk pack.

    When I last bought something from Comet on the other hand, (Asus tablet), the guy did the "would you like an extended warranty with that?" speech and then left it at that - no pressure.

    Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...
