Again, it was this questionable approach to transferring patents that had me focus on Apple.
Isn't it a bit strange that all 12 patents that were transferred from Apple all came originally from Mitsubishi?

The Adaptec patents used in Digitude's claim also came in through a proxy company, Hupper Island LLC. This was used for 214 transfers:

Wonder how many more "Islands" this company has?

Edit: Just answered my own question, there's 6 "Island" companies

Wait there's even more, at least 5 more, all linked to the same people

    What a crazy operation.

Dont think either would actually work, shareholders generally dont give a toss about unfriendly business strategies but more share prices and what they can get out of it personally.

Dont think the armistice would work either, imagine for years company X supplies a certain product, then Apple goes to company Y for the same product and then lets loose the dogs of war (lawyers) onto company X...

I know that at the end of the day they are all companies and are all out there to make money but they tend to do so without being nice about it but without breaking rules etc, what we need is a rewrite of those rules before anything will change..
