Re: News - DrayTek launches flagship Vigor 2850 router
I use a Billion 7800n on Infinity, previously on ADSL with Sky and its just as reliable as my old Draytek at a smidgen of the cost http://www.billion.uk.com/product/wireless/7800n.htm
The Billion router would be my choice for the home user, business users might still like the Draytek if they are going to take advantage of the bells n whistles.

Only difference here besides the price is that for the billion you still need your Openreach modem to connect to it, whereas with the Vigor 2850 or indeed the 2750 you don't need the Openreach modem since they have one built in.
Still they are gonna be better than the rubbish BT Router any day.
Re: News - DrayTek launches flagship Vigor 2850 router
I've had several Drayteks, very good indeed.
Right now, however, I use something that costs a fair bit less and still has a gigabit switch in it... and have put TomatoUSB onto it.
That said, however, if you don't want to fiddle around, the out of the box features on any modern 2{8,9}xx Draytek, particularly multi-WAN support, make them worth their price.
