Cat, it's not that I don't love you, but wrong thread!

This is about the phone running 7.5... Not the UI decisions of Windows 8. Most of these comments are completely irrelevent as most roumers have it that on appollo desktop is disabled.

I know it isn't and I actually like the slate UI for touch devices after using the newer Windows phones. The problem is MS took too long to get it out which is a shame,otherwise they would have had more marketshare worldwide by now.

More power to them.

I'd like to see both Windows and Android offer strong competition for Apple, and take substantial market share, because nothing will curb monopolistic exploitation batter than serious competition.

I have to smile! Ten to fifteen years ago one might have seen a similar post, but with Microsoft's and Apple's names juxtaposed. How the mantle of 'evil empire' changes!
