It's more than that - your items are what determine the damage you do and how fast you repeat attacks. All the skills are modifiers on top of this base damage/attack rate. It's completely non-sensical, but if you give a wizard a dagger then he can fire off weak magic missiles more quickly, or you can give him a two-handed sword and the magic missiles will do more damage but can't be thrown as often.
But if you ignore the sensibilities, it's a great gameplay mechanic, and allows you to tailor your skills power/rate/effects by changing weapons - and gives those characters a reason to loot as often as warriors.
Anybody have any free copies of this game they don't want anymore??
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
I also thought this. Why they couldn't follow the way they did it in Diablo 2 seemed strange, even with the real money auction house. Simply have it so offline characters can not use the online services, simple. The reason I see behind them it is possible to enable simple drop in co op and have greater controller over the piracy issues. Yet I think the people who want to play this online together would buy it anyway.
After 12 years to launch a game, we need more than a d@mn apology!
Took me ages to get online the other day.
