The MARS cards are absolutely insane and do put perform most single card solutions.
But why did they go with that heatsink design with them branching off the back? It will most likely cause a few people some trouble

You'd have to lean your PC, window-side against the wall to stop it keeling over...

I bet it will be around the £1500 mark, couldn't you just get a normal 690 and OC it?

For a good while the difference between an OC'd 690, any other Mars and this, is going to be whether you enjoy playing all of your games at well over 60fps easily, or playing all of your games at well over 60fps easily.
    It's a triple fan-cooled e-peen supreme.

This looks lovely, would only be useful for high resolutions though!

I also find the paint job a bit laughable. It looks like the shroud was hand-painted by some 10-year-old with a cheap enamel paint. It actually reminded me of those old Matchbox toy cars I used to have. Mars II's finish looks a lot better, IMHO.

I really don't see the use in the MARS series other than bragging rights.

They're there to make the mid-range look cheap.

So is this card going to be recognized as a single card, or will it show up as 2 cards running in SLI? Anybody know? My guess is it will show up as 2 cards running in SLI.
