ooh but will it be win 7.5 or 8?
edit: Probably not actually worth asking.
I will probably end up buying this
Get everything else right Nokia, just in step with the herd, and this will win you my business. Even better, get a Jelly Bean phone on the market with the asthetics of the Lumia range and a Pureview camera and people will flock to it. Camera is a very important aspect for many phone users I would have thought and a major leap forward in this area will drive good sales if the rest of the package is acceptable.
I'm all for having awesome cameras on phones as it's more convenient, but at the expense of size and weight?
Compared to the latest smartphones, it looks a bit chunky to me....
I too would buy a smartphone like this. I see a lot of value in a good camera (not only is it saving you from forking out for a separate camera (for general use at least) - it saves you carrying 2 devices around all the time and means you'll always have a camera with you). Within reason, a little extra size/weight wouldn't bother me. As ever, my biggest worry with smartphones is battery life - I'd gladly take them just a little 'dumber' for the battery life on my old nokia bricks. My first foray into smartphones couldn't even manage a day of non-use (on standby) without needing to be recharged.

Agree Tpyo. I've gone to using an old cheapy qwertty featurephone which lasts easily 5 days and often more than a week between charges. Teh Android sits unused in the cupboard now.
What was the phone?
I've always been able to get at least a day or medium use out of all mine. Sometimes two days of little use and about 10 hours with heavy use, but a day is average. Just charge it over night when you are sleeping.
My HTC One X gets a clear day or medium to high usage out of it (no video or games though) regularly and thats with Wifi, GPS, backgound data and Auto-Sync enabled all the time.
My works Galaxy Ace gets about 5 days of very light use (can be on standby for days at a time) before needing a charge. Mostly I turn the screen on to see if i've missed a call or text or to check emails. Wifi and background data are always on with this too.
