    Compatibility reasons.

    Plus while I wouldn't use it as my main browser, it's not bad these days.

    Microsoft often patch security-critical holes in officially unsupported products - I guess this is no exception.

    IE isn't that bad. It's more compatible with some webpages.I don't use IE directly but use an IE based Avant browser instead when I need.
    It's interesting that IE6 is still on the list.Didn't the IE6 users be forced to update?

    I use IE9 because it's a browser that works, and works as well as any other browser i've used. No other browser gives me a valid reason to change to that browser.

    ie6.....still using that for epson printer firmware and reset soft download. have to coz it does not support other browser..
