Testing please!
A passive cooled HTPC seems an obvious market
At last AMD may be successful in this market if they can cope with the heat issues that AMD have been know for in the past.
Interesting product. Waiting for some real world tests. Should be out within weeks.

Small correction to the article, Cedar Trail is the Nettop/Netbook platform, Clover Trail is a SoC. The Cedar GPU is similar to the Clover Trail one (PowerVR 545) but the clocks vary, Cedar offers 400 add 640MHz, Clover is clocked at 533MHz. If anything, Medfield is Clover Trail's predecessor, although they're more like different versions of the same platform, one for each tablets and smartphones, with Medfield using the PowerVR 540 GPU core at 400MHz IIRC.

What the TDP of the intel chip used in the new moto phone ? 2x1GHz vs 1x2GHz would be an interesting cpu comparison.
The battery life figures though are just a tad misleading 10hours+ battery life great, what size of battery is required to reach that, can always fit a bigger one!
As apple did with the pad 3 vs pad 2 they almost doubled the size of the battery to maintain its life
Hmmm, it's seems like just a specially binned version of the z-01 with a 4.5W TDP. It's 40nm.
Funny, I was just talking to a mate yesterday about Windows 8 tabs with fusion processors, looks like we're going to have to wait until the SOC generation with Jaguar cores for a decent one.
had this been 32nm or even 28nm.. still i would be interested bcoz it will have windows 8 full or the Win-RT, some say even Android and maybe later Linux.. Some Advantage over the competition are USB 3.0, mSATA, DX11, X64 Bit, 50000 App`s, Best IGP, 1200p display support, Multi OS Support (Win8 Full, Win-RT, Later Linux & even Android) Games and many more that we will see when reviews hit..
Canada & Australia will be first to get them in early November (9 I think)... I hope Acer releases them to the EU 1st
