normal hard drives are slowly fallen back in price too. £50 for 1gb drive are available now.

Funny that, it seems Moore's Law is working as it should for SSDs 3 years later - they've almost doubled every year at the same price point. 500GB SSDs next year? Let's hope before the tech hits the physics roadblock!

The hybrid drives offer better security on your data. look at the return rate on ssd drives on newegg and other sites.

I don't buy it. HDDs are notoriously unreliable, and you shouldn't have important docs on any medium without backup.
