I've only had 2 cases: A ColorsIT one on my 1st build and my present Asus Zen. SO I suppose the Zen has to win it, cos the other one was rubbish.
Cheapest and most capable (26 pounds/30 euro) was NZXT Gamma. One of first - x86 from IBM. 286 in particular. Was some bulletproof thing that :-)

Antec Twelve Hundred
Im still enjoying my TJ07
Good grief I have no idea of the exact model number. Some Dell thing. It was whisper quiet, had good airflow, and was the easiest thing to swap out components for (to make it easy for factory monkeys I guess).
Antec P182, its cool, quiet and dust free! Before that I loved my Antec 900 (mainly for its looks) but this was the opposite to the P182: loud and got very dusty!

Coolermaster ATC-201B-BXT (The Black Widow)
Quoth the server... "404"
Amiga 4000.
I'll love this case forever!
SilverStone TJ09(-BW).
Phenomenally easy to work on (MB could slide out of the back without removing huge Scythe Infinity cooler), decent air-cooling (back in the day).
Review here on Hexus helped make my mind up: http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/chassis/7205-silverstone-temjin-tj-09-chassis/
Lordy-me was it big (couldn't get the box it came in into the car...).
Antec P182 gunmetal grey, looks of it and spacious.
Eek...I got rid of my old Staker when I last rebuilt my system. For such a big case, it was horrible to work on. The side panels were a bugger to get back on, there was no cable management whatsoever, and that 3 bay 5.25 to 3.5" adapter thing was a pig to get out ever time I changed drives. I was very happy to see the back of it!
Silverstone Raven RV02 - Case I got after my 1200, spent ages trying to get the cables just that bit neater in the Raven . Good case, just a bit.. large..
IBM XT. Built like a Tiger tank and weighed just as much. Pff, most of you whippersnappers won't have a clue what I'm talking about.
Other than that; most modded of all would be the Antec Dragon. I loved my Antec Dragon.
Just for poops and giggles here's a very old shot (10 years ago) of an Antec Dragon I had. Ahhh.... halcyon days.
