I don't think so, you could get a kick ass laptop for that.
Or you could get something like the Nexus 10 for a fraction of the price. I don't get how Apple actually sell these things. The 32GB Nexus 10 is still less than the 16GB iPad 4, it's more powerful, has a higher resolution and best of all has Android.
Wow (shadowsong): Arthran, Arthra, Arthrun, Amyle (I know, I'm inventive with names)
Is there a tablet that matches the capacity or support memory cards? If not, then they've found their niche as far as I am concerned.
£240 for +112GB, lol
And yet, with a windows or android tablet, you could plug in a hard drive and get much more storage
But it has Android which is not a good thing if you prefer iOS!
You're completely missing the point of having a tablet. Who the hell wants to have a hard drive hanging off the back of their super slim tablet? Ridiculous.
The 128Gb model is a daft price though. Apple should just drop the 16Gb model and lower the price of the 32Gb version to £399 and so on up the range. I suppose the shareholders have to be paid though!
An Atlantean Triumvirate, Ghosts of the Past, The Centre Cannot Hold

My books are available here for Amazon Kindle. Feedback always welcome!
Well, there are many ways to use a tablet. A hard drive may be practical for some, whereas it may not be for others. I sometimes see people on public transport using tablets with hard drives plugged in to watch movies.
Anyway, some tablets like the Xperia S can support SDXC storage and use memory cards above 32gb. I think 256GB is currently the most that you can get, but the upper limit is 2TB which is massive. Thats the way forward for me.
Generally nobody, but the option is there. If I'm on holiday and want to get through a load of films, then the option of simply taking expandable storage with me is there. I won't need it 99% of the time, but for that odd occasional, I could take half of my media collection with me.
Is there even a market for this?
Who would pay all that for one of these?
Me, Usually as an impulse buy. Too much of an Apple Fan boy, Although no i wouldn't. As someone above said. Prices on these are just ridiculous now. My Gaming PC Cost less then the 128GB iPad. And honestly who will fill the whole thing with movies anyway? not like your actually going to watch all of them same principle with Games. Your never actually going to play on every game if you have 128GB worth then wow. And does anyone really have 128GB of music?
Pricing is Awful. Can pick up a Kick ass laptop for that. Almost the price of a Mac book Pro, Not far off anyways
How much! That is mental!
Impulse buy f3... my god why not just buy a couple of houses as an impulse buy while you are at it? lol (just a joke, don't take any offence)
Although Mr business bod who wants to claim his VAT back and wants to make sure his business makes no profit (maybe has a silent partner) will snap this up.

It looks like the 16GB capacity might be pushed from the 10 inch market this year or next.
