While I agree for the most part, I seriously find that Aliens colonial marines is excluded from this.... The game they demoed claiming it was 100% ingame footage was FAKED they kept saying it was the real deal and a work in progress yet the released version was way worse!. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lGXDM3LGnk here is a good video, now going by trailers I understand is silly but this is listed as INGAME footage, I was going to cancel my preorder but then I stumbled upon that demo which looked good, I didnt think it would be worse than that and Gearbox kept saying how much effort was going into it.

Gearbox flat out lied, now its bollocks why should we have to wait for reviews? Most places are bribed/bias anyways, if you watch a trailer for a film do you expect that content to be missing from the film? No you dont.

Steam itself is DRM and while it is the least intrusive I still believe it needs work. And yes I am unlucky, 3 systems and multiple installs steam still lags like crazy yet everything else works flawlessly however this must just be me and a few of my mates, I would be happier if it worked better so atleast you are lucky to have it working well .

like it. I am waiting for the ubuntu phone and now I'm not sure what to buy.

I think it's possible to install and run (fully working) steam on the tablet if they will make x86 CPUs version or like the razer fiona. Well I'm not an expert in hardware things.

Is steam better for "indie tablet games on arm" than Play store, or Apple store, or Windows Store?

I dunno why steam gets such a love-in, people are jumping up and down over the no re-selling on PS4, yet steam gets a free pass.
Can you re-sell from games from Play Store, Apple Store or Windows Store? Not trying to be a smart arse, I genuinely don't know (although I'd guess not). If you can that's great but I'd be more than a little surprised

    probably not? unsure though
as i understand steam games are permanently tied to that steam account so unless maybe you sell the whole account (if that is that even allowed/possble?) then you cant sell on the games... at least not in a form the buyer can use, as they cannot be activated.

No you can resell them however with the Play store you have 15 minutes to refund your purchase, I reckon if you had 15 - 30 minutes on steam purchases it would be a great system .

The windows store encourages, and for say xbox live branding requires, that apps implement a "try".

Combined with the immediate star system, pre-purchases not supported by any of the other platforms.

These are things which steam does not do.

Thou I agree, I can see the appeal and market place for games which are cross platform, actually writing this I'm surprised say unity (a cross platform games framework), hasn't already offered this, as a way that games written with their framework have a good USP. Buy once, play everywhere.
