    always good to see new technologies, it means i better save some cash first for future upgrades errrr or a new built

    Okay.. sounds like the logical thing to do business-wise is to offer the newest technologies to the higher-end products...as usual.. so when will this reach the lower-end of computing? probably another year or so?

    I've only just made the move to DDR3L and PCI-E 3!
    Memory manufacturers need a new standard to be a cash cow as DDR3 is cheap as chips, 16Gigs for £70 is more than plenty for most people and by smallest amount i've ever paid for ram!

    With regards to memory latency, in time base terms it's remained pretty constant for ages, typically between 10 and 15ns between the fastest and slowest memory in a generation
