I don't get the fixation with 3D printed guns. I'd rather print a new handle for the coffee grinder or gear wheel for a toy RC car.

You can get better kits at better prices. Google "reprap" for the most popular and robust model or try reprappro.com or 3dkarma.com for the most reliable providers. The pcworld offering for a fully assembled model is interesting but quite expensive.
