Longer than that, actually. It's 10 years since the rebuild, after the hack/crash.

I vaguely remember the hack, didn't a few places get hacked at the same time? I remember OCS did sometime around then as well.

Hmm, takes me back. I remember buying a Coolermaster ATC-210VX case (which went to recycling only this year) and being unimpressed with the cooling capabilities for my Athlon-based rig. Then someone at work suggested that I tried this site called "Hexus" which seemed to have a lot of overclocking, case modding "geeks" on it for an answer.

Joined, posted my question and got a couple of good, helpful answers ... and I've been here ever since. The ATC got a castor wheel mod and a 120mm inlet (with dust filter) on the underside - not exactly a LN2 rebuild, but it was an enjoyed chance to get my hands dirty.

Thing I like about the forums is the same thing I like about the site in general ... there's a lot of very well informed people who seem to be all too ready to lend a hand, or a sympathetic ear, to those of us less technically adept. Also, you can have discussions where the passion level is high but it seldom, if ever, degenerates to that moronic fanboy name calling exchanges seen elsewhere.

For the latter I solidly blame the forum moderators, who seem to be able to run a tight ship without necessarily reaching for the ban hammer too much. Well done, and many thanks, to all of you moderators!
