Ummm.... Firstly not for £400 you can't. Secondly this argument has been done to death mate. The point about console power is low overheads and high optimization. Arguing that you can buy more powerful laptops is pointless. I can buy a laptop thats more powerful than my 3 year old desktop but it would cost a fortune and I can't upgrade the GPU or CPU.

Rather than trying to downplay this. the better the performance we can squeeze out of these consoles, the better it will be for everyone.

The better the minimum multiplatform spec, the better the games that can be made.

As as primarily PC gamer, i want them to get as much performance as possible, as no matter what they manage, the PC will eventually overtake and will be held back by that spec at that level.

Seriously, who cares. Everyone (almost) will own both in 3 years or less. Plus, here at Hexus we all know they fall very far behind compared to the glorious PC Gaming Master Race

The GPU in the PS4 seems to be a version of the HD7970M with 1120 shaders instead of 1280 shaders.

This means the GPU is faster than probably any current laptop under £750 I suspect.
