    These are brilliant for anyone that uses CAD. Aircraft drafts men/woman use them in some places. A digital drawing board..
    I don't think there are many CAD artists at Fox news which was what I was getting at, i'm sure they have their use in industry, however for news research I think they are a teeny bit to big don't you?

    Even drawing on something that size using the touch screen would be difficult and painful after a while I recon. Cant imagine something like that would be a daily use item, using it to view complex drawings however is another matter, you wouldn't really need the touch enabled then as the diagram/draft would be large enough to view all the detail anyway.

    The situation is that different for large PC monitors though. 1080p on anything bigger than a 24" monitor is almost unusable unless you start sitting further away from it. 30" monitors are 2560x1600 not because it looks better, but because they have to be.
