Better pc games. Sums it up really, not interested in a console when that cost could go towards a better pc build.
What excites me about Playstation 4 is it will not have framerate issues for a long time.
I wouldn't say I was excited in any way for the PS4 or the Xbone. I am interested however in the way games develop primarily for PC due to both consoles being x86 architecture.
not too much underwhelmed by what has been created
I think what excites me most at the moment is to see if you get one that actually works...loads of sites saying plenty of PS4's are DOA
excited? nothing really... some people here are talking about framerates of xbox one/ ps4. Then go with graphics cards (gtx780ti, gtx titan, r9 270, 280, 290x) Graphics cards for better frame rates and graphics and worth the upgrade!
Nothing beats the upgradability of a PC and far superior hardware. SSD and fast graphics cards do well for the PC
For me its got to be better looking PC games, hopefully MANTLE will see some stunning ports due to the amd based hardware in the consoles
PLS PLS PLS no more crap ports !
The prospect of gaming platform with a large community base is the aspect that appeals to me. PC will always be a head but thats to be epected IMO. I'm not going to get into PC gaming until 4k is a realistic option.
By the way, there are complaints going around the net that a number of PS4's are faulty, some accusations that they are being sabotaged in the Foxconn plants? No reliable indication of the percentages of involved yet though.
Edit: Sony has admitted 0.4% will be faulty according to Trustedreviews:

Not at all excited anymore - I cancelled my pre order last month.
I'll wait until I need to buy one to play the games I want, and get one then, possibly. At launch there is nothing exciting (now watchdogs is delayed) with no "killer" launch games whatsoever (I mean really, there isn't a single PS4 exclusive game worth getting excited about) and GTAV has proved that the PS3 can still show off stunning graphics/audio/gameplay with the right developer behind it.
IF they had maintained true backwards compatibility with my PS3 games I would have kept my pre order, no question..gives you a new toy to play with and some actual games to use too - but without that crossover point, it's not worth it.
It's VERY expensive too..yes cheaper than the XBO, but still crazy money at the moment. Odds are i will pick one up in a year or two when the first "slim" edition is released.
Hmmm. Tempting as I have a vita with ps+ however I think id rather have a budget gaming laptop with our first child on the way as its more flexible...
I like the look of it, but I will hold out for a while. at least till the first price drop.
I still have a PS3 which I hardly ever use, and have quite a few games which I have hardly played. I like the PS3 so I think I should try and get some use out it before skipping ahead. I prob wouldn't end up playing it either.
i bet I sound nuts in this post.
My pre-order is still open, but I'm questioning it. Mostly due to the cost.
I went with the Killzone bundle as it basically works out at over £50 cheaper than buying the camera and pads separate. Might cancel and wait it out....not sure yet.
