This part of the thread is beginning to resemble the Monsoon Poultry Hospital stuff on Mock the Week!

Back to EA, agree with shaithis - EA ARE too big - they need to divest some of their less appealing products. Personally speaking that whole EA Sports stuff could well do with being sent elsewhere - seventh level of hell suits me, but then again I'm not into video sports played with controller (Kinect or Wii board are are excluded since at least you get some exercise playing them).

Gave up playing BF4 a couple of weeks ago, too many bugs, disconnects and stacked teams. Dont know if its still got the EMC blur bug constantly on but that was the last straw for me as it just made me feel ill.

It was nothing to do with the NHS tho.

Stopped all work on future releases but say this wont affect release dates......I guess they dont learn from their mistakes of releasing rushed products?

I like how he says they'll follow gamers wherever they go while still abandoning WiiU development completely. Then again, probably a good thing they kept this off the WiiU, Nintendo has enough problems with people pointing blame at their hardware, EA would have probably blamed them for the bugs.

Yes. Refusal to play with steam at all aside, they treat their staff like crap, they've crushed the life out of every development studio they ever acquired, and their DRM policies are utterly anti-consumer, driving large swathes of people into pirating their products, including those who've already paid for them.

That's why they've been voted America's worst company two years in a row.

Recent update fixed all problems with me ingame. Browsing servers still does not filter correctly though - I remember this being a problem in BF2, but BFBC2 seem to over come this problem, but BF4 has it back...

    Blur screen is corrected too.

Ahh, I'd forgotten about the "US worst company" award. If they get it next time do they get to keep the trophy? In which case, I doubt THAT will be placed into the corporate HQ's trophy cabinet!

A lot of what you rightly say I'd also accuse Activision of being guilty of and, in my experience, Activision's sucker, sorry "customer", support is less effective than EA's.

Ubi I've got mixed views on - yes they do some good titles, and unlike the other two they at least seem to be better at resisting the "one a year" temptation. But I really, really, really wish they'd drop that stupid uPlay system. As I've probably said before, the one that sums it up for me is Rocksmith2014. I bought that via Steam, so if I launch via Steam then I've got to log into uPlay before I can play it. "Ah", I thought, "in that case I'll launch uPlay instead of Steam and then have one less step". Nope, launching uPlay then the game brings up a login for Steam - although at least that one is an autologin. Still bl**dy annoying to have uPlay's in-game-assist running along with Steam's IGA. Especially as I'm interested in neither! But I realise that this is firmly off topic - my apologies.

Oh, and Ubi's estore support ... "utterly incompetent" would be high praise.
