Monitors. I think 2014 will be the year that 4K becomes feasible in the mainstream.
Hopefully build a whole new PC, and 4K resolution on a monitor, how could you possibly see any difference...
Monitor for me too. I can't really justify any other upgrades after the GTX780Ti, except a monitor so that I can take advantage of gaming at a higher resolution like 2560x1440, not convinced that a 4k monitor with 30hz refresh would be worth the investment.
All I need is a bigger SSD.
I'm saving money at the moment for a new rig around a Broadwell.
A new case!
I Should be getting (After God's Permission) a Fractal Design Arc mini R2
I've seen a lot of good reviews about it & there is even a Hexus review!
It's about $120
Not that high price...
R9 290X with a NZXT G10 bracket to go with my H90 that's just sat in its box doing nothing..
will be adding another 16 gb ram and next ssd drive
BUT the first and foremost - my 120mm fans on H110i - couse a stock one are very noisy!
BTW any one know better ones than Noctua NF-F12 PWM - couse they pretty ugly ;]
Probably a new Haswell platform with Maxwell GPU coming in September or a little bit later...
A whole new rig (I'll be upgrading my rig in chunks each month) to go with my new job and the new year.
Case (either a Corsair 750D or 760T) and hopefully a psu as well. Both are things that are hindering my future upgrades.
Complete overhaul based on Haswell E, X99 and a couple of Geforce 890s and a brace of 4K panels
This year? Hard drives (5 x 4TB, raid 6), monitors (1-2 4K displays), I really want to replace my main machine too since I've found myself needing "as much CPU power as possible" but that might not happen this year since I'd like to go dual socket 2011 with 12 core chips... I can at least get dual quads this year and maybe a few 780s to help drive the 4K display(s)
