So do I, though not on all machines, and I have zero intention of upgrading. Certainly not to Win8. I'm not going to fix, or replace, a tool that isn't broken. My circumstances, however, aren't what would be common.

I like windows 8 but windows 8.1 always breaks my computer... no idea why, Windows XP is getting really dated now, it's about time support is ended if you ask me.

    EDIT: i like windows 8 + start8

As a strong linux proponent I think this is one of the best things Microsquish could have done to improve linux market penetration. Looking around on the web, more and more people are going towards linux, the gamers aren't going yet but a lot of the netbook users are as it's keeping their machines happier, it's not like a browser or office suite can only be run on windows and neither do you need to know how to use a terminal to install linux these days (especially on older hardware)
