Hm, maybe HP learned from the dv6 series? Because between their poor design and Nvidia's 65nm failure those must dv6 are legendarily bad. Although most of that was poor cooling. Mind you a lot of other HPs were equally bad, this guy had this HP Compaq nFarce 7150 laptop which failed and I remember researching it: the serial numbers below it and above it had been offered extended warranty but somehow his was missed. Sure it failed for the same reason but HP didn't think so. Told him to try taking PC World to the small claims court but I don't think he ever did.
