Going back to OP, it'd be really nice if EA just let the devs make the game without being all EA and screwing around with things:
-let them finish the game before pushing release
    -debug before DLC
-I never ever want to hear the damn words "gold packs" again.

I'd LOVE to see a new kotor, but anything will be great.
    What about 1313, any news?

+1 on all of that list. Maybe it'd be a better world if they made the execs test before allowing to release.

I'm a bit of a SimCity compulsive at the moment and as a result launch Origin a lot. To me at least, it seems to have got a lot better recently - unarguably more responsive at least. In fact yesterday it was launching faster than Steam was. Please don't judge it on the elaborate mess you've got to go through to launch BF3 or 4.

Nope my nomination for "BAFTA Golden Dog Egg" for the worst launcher still goes to uPlay. Oh and like Activision, Ubisoft's "helpline" aren't helpful - on the other hand I've had good experiences with EA's support. And now all that thought of Ubisoft and Activision has put me in a bad mood...

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...

KOTOR1 and 2 were awful. The action was several commands you had to choose in a fight.
They can be remade but with the free action style of Jedi Knight 2

Blasphemer! Burn Him! I'll give you that they were game breakingly bugged in a lot of ways, but as far as story driven rpgs go they were great.

This post made me laugh out loud, fair enough if you don't like the style.

It's supposed to be like that(???)
It's some kind of experimental RPG you know? If you don't like it then you've probably played it a bit later, that game is really old, the first time I played it I didn't even know what I was doing.

But I would really much like a game like the Jedi Knight series. I even wish they'd continue it, but the story might interfere with Episode VII though.

Battlefront 1 & 2 were great games. I'd buy them again but only if they had the same offline playability as before. The AI was pretty good so bot matches worked well for me.

How many more years do we need to milk this god awful franchise for?
