I don't like it. It has never bothered my which way I put in the USB as I've always checked first. I'd rather have a robust connector, rather than the one like micro USB. I hope it's not fragile otherwise it will have been pointless. I don't honestly see why we're still using USB over other connectors..

So somehow life will be so much better because you no longer have to check which way round your USB is... yet you'll still have to check which way round your HDMI, DVI, 240V mains and all the other connectors are...?

Might just be me and a few special peeps, but I never had a problem sightlessly plugging in USB stuff.

I thought the biggest reason was that micro USB 3 type B was a horrid cable:

On my 3rd cable at the moment and I only use them once in a blue moon....the connector at the device end just breaks

As to this new one, I can't see what the moaning is about. I applaud the reversible connector, it will save me some time groping around the back of my PC and I have had 2 friends bring dead PCs to me before where they "had trouble plugging the USB in after a few drinks".....

It's the ONE thing about my work iPhone that I like and once you've used it for a bit, you will probably think "why didn't they do it sooner?"
