did not have much time so,I tested only three games. All are benchmarked at 1680X1050 using a Xeon E3 1220 and a GTX660 2GB.
Metro:Last Light
I used the in-game benchmark tool. All settings are on very high, with SSAO and PhysX off. I used an average of three runs.

I just saw the following mentioned in the HardOCP review of the R9 295X2:
Maybe the new driver is allowing slightly higher clockboosts all around??On the temps, we have noticed with these latest drivers the 780 Ti is able to go up to 87c now, versus 84c with previous drivers. The observed clock speed also seemed slightly higher than we've experienced before, 1019MHz sustained clock speed on the GTX 780 Ti's while gaming. In the past, we have seen about 1006MHz clock speeds on these cards. This new 337.50 driver may have changed the thermal profile slightly to allow slightly higher clock speeds.
Hm, two of your benches went down where it mattered Cat. Maybe the low min was just one dip? Rather strange that with all the hype the frametime graphs seem to be missing.
Hm, wouldn't that make the 780Ti even louder? I know, AMD got all the bad PR about noise with the 780Ti already at 58.5dB(A) vs the R9-290X at 61.5dB(A), any increase in fan speed will push the reference 780 Ti closer to the the reference R9-290X.
Oh noes it's approaching 90C now, it will melt a hole in spacetime!! /sarc
TBH though the PR damage is done to AMD now, I wouldn't be surprised if updates raise 780Ti to 290X stock noise/temps and no-one in the press bats an eyelid...
These increases are quite impressive. But i wonder if AMD werent pushing the market would Nvidia really be bothered to do this ?
It makes my graphics card work. That's all I really give a toss about, to be honest...
I always say, if I need testing software in order to see the difference, it can't be *that* amazing!!
