hoverzoom so i don't have to click on pictures to see their full size, it just doesn't work for every picture unfortunately and pocket, for saving url's and being able to access it quickly on a mobile device

The ones that get the most use are AdBlock, Clearly (reformats pages for easier reading) and LastPass.
Others ones installed are Downloaders, Hola, Invisible Hand (price comparison), Refresh Monkey and Session Buddy (remembers/restores tabs).
adblock and english dictionary in firefox, that's all.
Firefox:
Adblock plus
British English Dictionary
Snap Link Plus (open mulitple links by drawing a box around them)
Tab mix plus (a must for any FF user)
Toolbar buttons
Translate this
TinyURL generator
I use a lot of customisation. One of my favs is having the mouse wheel left and right clicks move left and right between tabs. Set up using Logitech Set point.
"Reality is what it is, not what you want it to be." Frank Zappa. ----------- "The invisible and the non-existent look very much alike." Huang Po.----------- "A drowsy line of wasted time bathes my open mind", - Ride.
none at the moment, some of those look fairly interesting though, might have to mess around a bit with some
Die-hard Firefox user here. Intensely dislike Chrome, even though I have it installed (mainly as a backup), which is also the reason I've frozen FF at v28. If I wanted to use Chrome I'd use Chrome.
I'm using the following plugins (in alphabetical order):
Adblock Plus (obviously, with a few whitelisted sites)
CookieCuller (love this and thankfully it still works even though it hasn't been maintained for ages)
FlashGot (the perfect partner for NetXfer)
Hola (hardly use it, but it's there just in case)
NoScript (like ABP I wouldn't want to miss this)
RightToClick (noone tells me when I can or can't right-click)
Status-4-Evar (another lifesaver, restores functionality thrown out by previous FF "improvements")
User Agent Switcher (hardly ever use it)
Adblock, Flashblock and Noscript for Firefox.
Also have the British dictionary installed.
Tab Mix Plus and TabGroups Manager in Firefox/Pale Moon. The main reason I use these browsers is that I'm a tab hoarder and other browsers just aren't suitable for this.
Firefox:-
Adblock Plus + Pop-Up Addon
Classic Theme Restorer
Colorful Tabs
FEBE
FireFTP
FlashGot
GreaseMonkey
Open With
Relentless Restart
Saved Password Editor
Session Manager
Stylish
Switch To Tab No More
Tab Mix Plus
Youtube Center
Those are the real reasons that I shan't be using Chrome as my main browser any time soon. I simply cannot customise Chrome as much as I can with Firefox.
I've cut down a lot over the years, heres what i currently have installed:
-Adblock Edge
-DownThemAll - my favourite link downloader
-Download statusbar - better UI for downloads that don't work with the above
-FB Purity - facebook decrappifier
-Toggle Proxy - on/off toggle button for the proxy server setting
-Greasemonkey - with scripts to auto-set youtube to HD settings and a custom one i made to mute a few annoying people in some newspaper forums
-IE Tab - For the rare remaining sites coded only to work in IE
Thinking of trying chrome again at some point though. With my habit of keeping far too many tabs open and using hibernate instead of rebooting daily, firefox has a tendency for excessive RAM usage (ie, 1.2GB with just 8 tabs open right now) and tends to crash out when it hits 2GB...

Firefox with nothing
Chrome with AdBlock, Web Developer and Stylebot
I couldn't live without Download Flash & Video add-on in Firefox. [prOn... ]
Send to Kindle for Google Chrome
Testing Dashlane but so far not so happy with it as Dashlane crashing quite a bit when tabs get too many.
