23 is about the biggest I'd want a 1080p monitor to be... It's too big and too expensive for a 1080p... Especially one that only runs at 60hz

Really? What do you use it for?
Very few people are willing to shell out £400 on graphics cards.
Simple fact is 4K gaming is at least 18 months away for the mass market.
I'd rather have 3 x 1080p screens like this powered by crossfire or SLi than one 4K screen.
Elite Dangerous with these 3 screens would be truly amazing.
This is exactly it!! While I'm sure that a 1080p res doesn't give me the best possible image I can get on a 27" screen, I've yet to meet a game that my graphics can't run at high to ultra settings stably. I'd rather have that than a higher res screen that would look great 'in theory' if I was running anything at high settings or was getting a half-decent framerate!![]()
ok, so it is an gamer screen?
Then:
Why the heck it has the speakers?
Why it is HD only?
Why it has VA panel?
Why it has only 60Hz?
If that is dedicated for 3x screen so
Why the frame is so big and exposed?
Why the heck it has speakers? ???????? LOL seriusly?
And the prize... bs
It needs to be smaller and cheaper or better specified for the price they're asking... As for anyone stating that it'd be good for a 3 monitor setup... SURE. you got the space for that setup? I DONT THINK SO. Not even remotely practical...if you have this much desk real estate, chances are you're not short of a few pennies... In this case, why are you even looking at 1080p for this size? In a monitor that can only push 60hz... This screen has literally nothing going for it. Face it guys... There are far better setups out there... Curved or not... And most of them are cheaper too!

AHVA+ is the superior gaming panel. It offers up to 4ms response and 120Hz refresh rate as well as good colours and great viewing angles.
I'd have that over TN any day, shame this doesn't reach 120Hz though.
You can't discard a curved monitor until you've tried it. It makes movies so much more immersive, as well as games. My desk from ikea has plenty of room for this monitor. I could fit a 39 inch TV on my desk and have enough space to work on, especially since it only occupies the width of the desk rather than depth.

Yes, but we're talking about 3 27"s not one 39"... And as far as curved screens go, a superwide is going to work better... I'm not arguing that a curved screen is necessarily a bad thing... Just not this iteration...
I'll site this 1440p as an example... Still not happy with the refresh rate... But it's better in almost every way... Yes it's more expensive but it's cheaper than 3 of the samsung screens... (Or should be) http://m.hexus.net/tech/news/display...-wide-monitor/
The curve extends across all three monitors... and the Korean model.![]()
