Well AMD said it's not going to be shipping 20nm parts until 2015, they didn't mention what quarter though.
Also results for what is claimed to be the Fiji XT R9 390X have been published on the SiSoft Sandra database, it seems the 390X is going to feature (4096SP 64C 1GHz, 4GB 1.25GHz 4096-bit) along with 3D stacked High Bandwidth Memory.

Launch with 4 and 8gb will be rare at best.
Well there a rumour starting to go around ( must stop polishing my crystral ball) about a 4096-bit memory bus on the R9 930X, but with 4k,5k & 8k tv's & monitors being pushed in 2015, you will see 8gb, maybe even more memory on AMD cards.
You may laugh, but Nvida's new GTX Titan II is also rumoured to have 12gb of memory.

The rumour is more that it'll be using 4 stacks of HBM. This isn't going to be a 4096bit bus as you'd traditionally think of it, because it's using stacked memory with a wide bitpath per chip. The current generation tops out at 1GB per stack, and each stack has a 1024bit interface to the controller. The next gen is meant to up the memory to 2GB per stack, but for the foreseeable future AMD's decision to go HBM (assuming the rumour is true) will limit them to a 4GB frame buffer.

because there is a blacklist of certain technologies to/from certain countries where they could potentially be used in undesirable ways - in this case probably pays to explain it is a part related to a video graphics card rather than leaving a big question mark over whether the "computer part" could potentially fall foul of US import/export laws and technology blacklists (eg. equipment that could potentially be used in the development, production or stockpiling of chemical and nuclear weapons)

I would buy the 390x only if it could crossfire with my 290x.

If it did, I doubt you'd get great results performance-wise. Best to Crossfire the same GPU.

They both "accidentally" put all that info on the shipping manifest. More like they are trying to gauge interest...
Re: News - Upcoming AMD R9 390X Fiji and GeForce GTX 960 details leak
I saw this article when first released on 12th November 2014, although I am really surprised no-one has picked up on a very glaring piece of information given in the table for the R9-390 series. Look at the last two columns. The price is given in INR (Indian rupees at Rs75,267 PER UNIT). Currency conversion currently shows Rs97 is equal to one pound sterling. That works out at almost 776 pounds sterling PER UNIT. Could it be that the upcoming Herculean 390X is going to cost a whopping 776 quid?.
