If that was Virgin's ADSL service then I understand ... it's pretty poor. On the other hand if it was cable then I would have got them to look at it. I've been a longterm VM customer and stick with them because the connection is so reliable.

Actually it's an eye-opener to go to my dad's (who is with BT), the connection is so darned slow.

I cannot. Every single time I have rung BT with a problem I have been passed around, lied to and treated like crap with holds of up to 30 mins while I am passed around various operators in Mumbai.

They also have a FUP on their broadband and throttle P2P video.

If they take over EE completely (rather than letting them carry on as a separate entity) I will probably stay with them as I get the 40% discount with them for mobile contracts....but if they start to apply their terrible CS (to an industry which is already cut-throat), I will have to leave. I just can't stand dealing with them.

Phone is up for upgrade at the moment as well, I was just waiting for the M9 to release....

It was their 60MB fibre service. After the fourth outage, I just gave up.

Maybe on their ASDL service they do, not on their Infinity stuff.
