How ugly!
It's like an inverted iMac Pro...there's some terrible product designer's out there. Just wow. It's just space inefficient, needs multiple cooling set-ups, ugly (subjectively).
It's nice to see a different take, but it's certainly not for me. They've really missed a few tricks with cooling too.
I think it's a neat idea actually; isolating GPU heat from CPU heat in an attractive (IMO) package. Pricing aside, the sticking point for me is (this we agree on) is that it will take up a lot of space compared with a normal tower. Though I guess if you've got the space for it, it's great.Quote:

Is that right? That's the heaviest case I've ever seen. Not even considering how ugly and inefficient it is, I would not want a 20kg+ PC! Nice idea but back to the drawing board I think.
It's the same as a Silverstone Fortress FT02 (~15Kg). Fully built and because there are no good grip points my FT02 is hard to carry, good thing I don't move it often!Quote:

My Antec Fusion runs two thermal zones using just some careful layout and a thin metal partition. That keeps the PSU & hard drives that want to be kept cool away from the CPU and GPU which can tolerate far higher temperatures.
Also, limiting to a single graphics card seems to rule out the serious gamers as well as people like me that want really quiet machines.
Just give me a scale model of an old Cray XMP for Mini ITX with room for a graphics card going up the middle and a fan at the top. Job done, old gits like me will buy them at least :)

Mini-ITX in a full tower footprint, with none of the advantages. No SLI. Semi-limited storage. Questionable cooling. Custom power supply (which is always a non-starter for me). I guess you can put a fin on top while in the 2blade configuration, paint it white and silver, and geek out on the Star Wars Tie-fighter case...
Saw a vid of this thing a while back, probably at a show or somesuch. Had red LED lighting, IIRC.
Looks funky and is a fancy mod/build/thing, but I doubt I'd ever own one.

I would love to watch someone put this build together...especially running all the cables through that center junction.

I really like this. Wouldnt buy it mind you, but i love that it exists. Full credit for them trying to think differently, and bringing to market too.
