I wonder how many of these dust collectors they will sell?
I loved my Speccy (was my second computer, first was ZX81), had the original 16k version which I had upgraded to 48k. Played it for years.
But I cannot bring myself to even launch an emulator, let alone pay £100 for one!
Nostalgia.....

Did ZX81, then BBC Model B and an Amstrad CPC 464. This should have been an app, not a console...
If they were making/selling actual ZX Spectrums, with the integrated keyboard as a minimum..I would buy one.
The units they decided on though are not worth it imo. I would much rather go to ebay and buy a boxed original ZX 128k with a box of tapes for the same money. Heck of a lot better, and you can do a lot more with them.
They really missed the boat on this imo, although that said he did make enough for his charity target, so when you keep in mind that was the whole point its not so bad!
Other than greed i cant see why its not a full spectrum, the whole internals would fit onto 1 chip now. They were managing to squeeze them out for £99 25 years ago so it should only cost a few pounds per unit .
I'll be really keen to read a review of one of these, to compare against an emulator.
Not just (obviously) about the playback of games, but if the overall experience is worth it.

They appear to be made in the UK,so at least a few UK jobs will be created as a result of it.
