    not really, there's plenty of flexi cables/right angle adapters that extend a pcie slot, been around for ages, how do you think some of the bitcoin mining rigs fit so many gpu's into their custom cases (well frames).

    You can get PCIe riser ribbons, sure, but the conductor length is limited because the signal will weaken in proportion to the distance travelled due to impedance. You'd likely be just fine with an extra 30cm or so, but you definitely wont get several metres (i.e. 'distance').
