What a bizarre looking thing!
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
I'm trying to imagine one reasonable application of such a device, and... Well, it's hard.
Actually quite a cute desk accessory. Rather fancy one
I could see my son using one as a desktop Skype phone.
Edit to add: He Skypes a lot, while playing games on his PC, often to friends he is playing the game online with. Usually this is from his phone.
wtf
but £90... presumably that's a TN LCD however.
To me I can see this operate for the following functions:
- A desk add on to your main computer for Emails and monitoring stuff.
- Small internet terminal in a small space in your home for basic functions like YouTube and Facebook.
- a terminal to connect to a TV as a HTPC (with the HDMI port).
- A small rig for office, lab work and school as Windows 10 already on it is actually kinda nice.
- POS system
- On Android, its use covers pretty much almost any sort of Android Apps available.
You can say it covers a much wider scope than the Intel Compute Stick for cheaper.

I can think of plenty of industrial applications, including running lab equipment. I might see if I can get hold of one at work to run the lab gas blenders. For lab applications the great thing with windows is the ability to use RS232. On a hobby front would make a great rig for controlling astronomy kit. Will post it on the astro forum I frequent.
It might not play much beyond Minecraft, but would be a cool extra controller for Elite: Dangerous for things like landing gear up/down
There is already a package where you run a webserver on your PC and point a browser on a tablet at it. I have had a play with it, but can't remember the name.
Smaller/cheaper/older version here: http://www.geekbuying.com/item/PIPO-...CH_Feed_348043
Edit to add: Heck, with 2G of ram you could just about run a Minecraft *server* on it
First thoughts ... what a stupid device.
Then read the specs/cost and all of a sudden ideas are flowing. For £90 I might just pick one up to see what I can do with it.
Add Tune-In and you have a great browser/radio for use in the kitchen/shed.
Just noticed something, on the shopping page it doesn't mention that it's touchscreen, I hope it is though.
