Totally agree. Specs look great but the normal model is 145 x 73.2 x 8.25mm... Who looked at that and decided it was a good idea to make an 'XL' version?!

Design, hardware and features look great otherwise. Somewhat surprised that they've decided to invest in mobile liquid cooling, given that the industry seems to be doing everything it can to move towards less power-hungry processors for mobile devices, but certainly cool nonetheless.

Have to say that the Hololens demo looked quite impressive.
Am no gamer and it seems a waste of the technology if it were just for gaming but its clearly not though how many developers will develop outside of gaming is probably little.

Less power hungry.. or more performant for the same power envelope. But I wonder isn't liquid cooling just a fancy way of describing a heat pipe? I would fully expect heat pipes to be used if you want to package something in a particular way and move the heat somewhere else, which sounds ideal for a mobile phone which your hand contacts in some places more than others.

New phones (mobile computers?) look awesome. For me it would be a no brainer - great cameras, eye biometric unlocking, removable battery, microSD, Microsoft Office and, a personal favourite: qi charging which android phones seem to have abandoned (looking at you Google).

The huge elephant in the room for me is software, or rather what will be the lack of it for a long time. But they will catch up - the only question is when...

Plus these mobiles phones might be used for much longer periods of time doing power intensive things thanks to Continuum.

Honestly that feature alone tempts me, but the handset is too high in price to not include that accessory. My 930 the current 'flagship' cost me about £240 in Singapore. At that price it's a brilliant device. These simple cost too much!

I can understand them wanting to put out a premium early price to state intent, but you're right - they should throw in a Band or something like Sony used to do.

    It's nearly 6 months.

For those who plumped for the 950 how is the device holding up... have updates improved it.
