With my little overclock on Phenom 2 964 (3.4 up to 3.8 and voltage up slightly to 1.36 stable and not any higher than 59 degrees on stock cooler) combined with the R9 380 I am getting next week it should be awesome decent experience.
So looking forward to playing this :D
"in North America there is a choice between English/French voice/text"
No Spanish? Is Bethesda owned by Trump, or something?
Just hope the hype is worth it, we have been let down so much this year.
I'm looking to get into pc gaming - especially with x-com 2 on the horizon (initially being a pc exclusive); and I'm not looking to spend too much on components, the gulf between the minimum and recommended worries me as to the longevity of my planned build. Currently considering an fx 6300 with a R9 380. I may have to stick to my ps4 for the more demanding games.
Thanks kernriordan, I was planning on OC to be honest - seen some decent results on OC the fx 6300 online; it was either that or save a little more for an i5 4690k, but I didn't want to fall into the trap of buying increasingly expensive components
Thanks for the advice I think I need to do a lot more research, cheers
with the graphics from the screens so far, I just can't believe my GPU is below minimum...
In what world is a 550 Ti equal to a 7870? The 7870 is over twice as fast. I really hope this doesn't mean the game is an unoptimised piece of crap on AMD, or afflicted Gameworks.
so nothing unusual - out of blue requirements that dont mean jack and 100% will not be true representation of what hardware can play game smoothly
Nice one thanks, I have found one that is only slightly more than the gigabyte motherboard I was looking at, think I will go for the Asrock 970 Extreme4
I have a FX6300 and it oced to 4.3 with ease and still runs cool. Might bump it up to 4.6 for Fallout 4. My R9 280x should be fine too.
EDIT
one thing though? Will you be able to download the game beforehand then activate on the launch day, much like they done with GTA5.
Has a 8320 laughs at the specs
i5 3570k @ 4.5 Ghz
16gb ram
R9 390
'Should' be just fine at 2560x1080 but if not then being a fallout game will be more than enough reason for me to get a skylake setup :)
Well it looks like I will need a upgrade and soon to. Ram and GPU.
I don't think I've ever been this exited for a game. Nor have I ever spent a ridiculous amount of money on an overpriced, gimmicky collector's edition, but there's a first time for everything!
