This no surprise, AMD is looking more and more looking like a take over target each year. Here is hoping ATI gets hived off and bought by someone that can do right by them.
Nope gotta agree. Not enough money to do justice to the tech and engineering teams nowadays
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
Selling more stuff off......will there be much left of AMD soon? Seems like they are slowly giving the company away just to remain afloat.

They should've sold to Samsung. Samsung vs Intel would be awesome!
Pity. They innovation vs. price vs performance is good. If AMD not there, Lord knows what ****e NVidia push. NVidia awesome, but if you have no competitors then know one to keep you honest and drive you to do better.
Its people that drive the demand for new tech every 6 months, no matter the cost. Look at Intel marketing their new socket CPUs every year. No real advances in performance since Sandy Bridge, yet people believe they need the "latest", because of brilliant marketing. AMD continues on a path of solid technology that still does the same, which is frankly more than enough for everyday computing. Prices are more affordable yet people just fork out the ever inflating Intel prices. Make profits for the shareholders its called.
Ouch. That's a lot of cheddar.
My mum's AMD APU is at least as snappy as my overclocked 6600k. For browsing, that is.
That's quite a chunk of cash AMD, don't go disappearing on us!! !

Be Careful on the Internet! I ran and tackled a drive by mining attack today. It's not designed to do anything than provide fake texts (say!)
Please bring your TDP down AMD.... please!!!!
AMD just needs to keep afloat until Zen is out. I am quietly confident Zen will be a massive game changer for AMD and give them a much needed cash injection. It probably would have been better if AMD let Samsung buy them out, BUT all AMD tech (including their X86 license, Zen, HBM, Fiji, Arctic Islands) would have become the property of Samsung. That is now what AMD wants. Also, I seriously doubt the American government would allow a foreign country to became an X86 license holder. Interesting how the only two companies in the world who own the X86 license are both American companies!.
Sorry, typo error. Should have read 'that is not what AMD wants'. Hexus sucks in that you cannot edit your original comment.
