If so then I'm not sure why you're bothered about what we do in the UK with the beeb, if you are from the UK then a bit more time spent watching some of the BBC's better output - and i would point out that BBC2 and BBC4 show a good deal of open university content - might help with the finer points of English grammar. Hope we've gotten that clear - innit.

Funnily enough, I think you'll find Sky etc and the like pay higher salaries, and Id hardly call 50p a day 'fleecing'.

The other thing that gets me, is the BBC not only gets a ton of money from the licence fee's they also get money from the eu and its news channels are all controlled by the government, who control what we see and hear...

Really? Perhaps you should try listening to or watching some of the BBC's news and current affairs programmes before you make that assertion, and back it up with some facts!
