Nintendo NX games console to launch in March 2017

Is the NX Nintendo's 10th console generation including handheld? I imagine the name will remain Nintendo NX or Nintendo X. Just a passing thought...

Yeah, lots of processing horsepower with two small pools of RAM. That said Nintendo have always done things this way, but on die DDR3?

They'd make more money if the Wii-U actually had games out for the target market. Its a coop couch machine, yet there are not nearly enough good games that do this.

Nintendo need to stop beating around the bush and give us a new console with a quad core and 1200 stream processors GPU all at a cost of $300.

Actually, we're more likely to see something like:

• 8-core AMD Puma CPU (successor to Jaguar in Xbox One / PS4)
• AMD Polaris 10-based GPU with up to 2,304 stream processors
• 8GiB DDR4 or GDDR5 / GDDR5X

It's possible that we might see a Zen-based CPU, but I think that's asking for too much and would probably consume too much power compared to AMD's low-power chips.

There's no way IBM will get a look in - AMD offer a turnkey solution for graphics and CPU, that's why all the other games consoles use them. I call fake on the whole list
