This doesn't look to be as impressive as 970 was at launch but would love to be wrong, hopefully we see real world performance soon!

Struggling to get 60fps on the current MMO I'm playing (Black Desert Online) on 2560x1440 using my GTX 970 so the pricing and performance of the GTX 1070 is going to be quite interesting to help me decide whether I upgrade or not.
Currently running 30-40fps. A GTX 1080 would get me to 60-80fps based on roughly 2x the performance of a GTX 970 which is nice but I don't fancy paying near £500 for. A GTX 1070 would get me to around 50-65fps based on roughly roughly 60-66% more performance which could be worth paying £300 for.
I would definitely not pay more than £300 for a graphics card though unless it were to allow me to run 60+ fps in every single game on 2560x1440 res maxed out but that's just me. The pricing of graphics cards nowadays are pretty ridiculous compared to the rest of the system.
Well.... I think I will make due with my FX5200 for now. it is doing well with BF4. No need to upgrade yet. The FX5200 still has some legs.
Lovely, Do want!
The PCB has less power delivery phases than a GTX1080 so probably is going to be power limited:

Hoping this card is around £300
